I need help buying a camera for my digital photography class?
ok so im a university student and im taking a photography class but i dont know what type of camera i should buy. i want a camera that has good megapixels and user friendly settings. preferably from either canon or nikon. im not looking for something super expensive since my class is for major exploration but something that i can use for the next two to three years. if you guys have any other brands or suggestions please feel free to say thanks

my friend has a Panasonic DMC-LX3 that i like.
In a photography class you gonna you are going to learn about the fundamentals of photography (Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, Depth of field,…). You should have a camera that can be set to manual (M), be able to change lenses. Any entry level DSLR from Canon or Nikon should do the job.
Now consider your budget and if you can try a couple of them before comiting, choose the one you feel the most comfortable with.
