Korekek ka dyan PK. I read somewhere na yung isa sa mga photogs ng isang popular men's mag dito sa 'tin eh nag-allot ng halos 2M for upgrade! Pwera pa dun yung DSLR body. Whoa!!!

hahaha...this is funny - you should know the story behind the pic...

michelle took some pics of some female celebrities for philippine star...she had to rent some equipment...

and the information on her website is correct - she does own a G5...and since the last VA party at Master K's, that is still her camera.

Again - hehe - go figure - know the story behind the pic...

Ako I'm after a pro-sumer cam upgrade next time, not because naghahabol but bugbog na talaga Year 2001 na Powershot S40 ko hehe.

Swerte actually mga photo enthusiasts ngayon na ang daming automation na mga digicams and the cost is really low to enjoy the hobby compared to film days.

I remember nung naguumpisa palang ako with my Minolta 300ix dati, putik linggo-linggo 4-7 rolls of film tapos siguro mga 1/3 lang usable... hehe

Mga luma kasi na film SLR mas dependent sa film and lens, ngayon naman laging bagay ng CMOS sensor at image processing.

Michelle Morelos certainly has a good eye. I just wish she posted larger images in her page. Is it just me, or talagang ganun ba kaliit yung mga images na nilagay niya?

I think ganun kalit lang talaga nilalagay nya - could be a deterrent for image pilfering.

Depends siguro on how we look at it...how much is how much for you, for him, for me, for her? Is P1,000 a big or small amount?

Sometimes, I would like to think that photography is an expensive hobby. However, I have some friends who are into cars and when I think of myself joining them I find that digital photography is a cheaper hobby compare to theirs.

Perhaps, its really true that the difference between men and boys is the size of their toys.

Expensive? Greatly depends on your needs (and most of the time, wants), IMHO. Madami kasi diyan, bili lang ng bili pero hindi naman kailangan (tulad ko minsan). Hehehe.

Glitterdoll is obviously a Canon user with the expensive "L" glass Canon lenses (white color lens with red stripe). And mind you, she's also using the latest Canon flashes speedlights 580EX and battery grips. Nakakainggit, instead of changing lens, she put all the necessary lens in all those cameras. Palit na lang ng camera ang ginagawa nya.

Kaya pala slim sya, para na ding weightlifting ginagawa nya while in photo shoots.

OT: I have just visited Michelle Morelos site and she's really talented or should I say gifted pagdating sa photography. It's amazing she only used P&S Canon G5 in all those wonderful pictures. Palagay ko, matindi ang post processing na ginagawa nya. Sana, ma share naman nya ang workflow nya at kung Photoshop gamit nya.

Sa dami cguro ng visitor nya sa website kaya it's exceeding bandwidth. Buti na lang pag gabi na dyan sa Manila, hapon pa lang d2 sa lugar ko, kaya I have the chance to fully surfed her galleries.

Also, siguro these days, DSLR na gamit nya as shown in the picture posted above.

Yep, ito ang isa sa usual problems ng mga sites na nagre-register ng maraming hits at visits. Actually, hindi down yung site nya. It's just that pag nag-exceed na nga ng bandwith, nire-reject na yung mga bagong papasok.

Galing yang si Michelle! Kahit ano hawakan nya - P&S or SLR, swak!

Just wondering lang, you guys consider a G series cam a P&S? Do photographers quantify fixed-lens = P&S... Not bashing or anything, just wondering what the local jargon equates to.

Sakin kasi P&S is more of a cam lacking manual functions and uses auto scenes only...

The G series are DSLR-like in features, except for smaller (everything) and fixed lens.
